About Me

Hi, my name is Hayden Coyle. I am a recent high school graduate from Nebraska City, Nebraska. I am a freelance videographer and editor. Currently I am a social media / Creative Content Manager for Battle Sports, YNC and EVOCODE. I started making videos my senior year of high school. I wanted to be the team manager for the boys basketball team because I wanted to be around them for one last season (I quit my sophomore year). There was already enough people helping out and I jokingly said I would be the teams picture guy, SO I took pictures for the first 2 games and I really enjoyed it. I saw some videos on instagram and wanted to try it out. My friends said they were pretty good and that I should make an instagram page... and that's exactly what I did. I was originally nc_hoopedits but I wanted to expand out of the school so I changed it to Hc_filmed.it and it has stuck since.

I kept working on my edits and trying get better. Eventually I got my first paid gig with a local college. It felt like all of my work had finally been noticed. Since then I have gotten many more opportunities with many college and high school athletes. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing their reactions when they see themselves in a video. 
I have recently started doing more "set" shots like hype videos for high schools, but I enjoy more of the action shots. I love all types of videos, but I love getting the cinematic and then adding hype or highlights into it. 
My camera setup was not always the best, and I didn't know my settings to well. After finally understanding my settings everything started getting better. I used to have a canon rebel t5 for my videos and it struggled. I eventually upgraded to the Sony a6000 and my quality got much better. I recently upgraded and started to "rig up" my camera. I then upgraded to the a6400 and started to do slo mo things. I recently upgraded to the Sony a7s iii. I use a Sony 24-70 2.8 master and I'm about to buy a 70-200 soon.
I enjoy everything about what I do! I love meeting all sorts new people and creating connections. I also love being able to stay around sports since I have played sports my whole life.
